Well as the harsh reality sets in that it is no longer the weekend and I am actually sitting back at my office to start of a 6day work week.......Grrrr! My weekend was very enjoyable! After a day from hell at work on Friday I was really at my wits end so I headed home kissed my lovely babies good bye as their father came to grab them for the weekend, packed up my things and headed off to C.C. for the weekend. (aka Ry's house) I just remember thinking on my drive down there....Geez I would do anything to just have all of life's ugly moments figured out, and then it hit me. I can't do anymore than what I am doing. I am the best I can be everyday! God knows the plan already and I have faith in that. That was the end of my bitterness. Ry, Blake and I headed out to El chappy for some GOOD margaritas and good eaten. It was a good relaxing time. Blake ended up drifting off to never never land and John was so kind to offer to take him home for us so that we can stay and finish up our drinks and hang out a bit longer. AMEN to that! Me and Ry always have a good time in each other's company he always makes me feel so special. ( : So we whipped down our drinks and decided to go hang out at his brother Kyle's for a bit. We had a wonderful night together. What a great way to end a crappy work week.... I love you Ry with all my heart!
Saturday was supposed to be errands day, but while we were out grabbing some lunch Blake began to run a fever....Poor guy! We headed back home just to hang out for the remainder of the day! Nap time for us!! YAY! Blake started to feel better after some rest and Motrin so we went to Route 66 for dinner with Karen, Dorothy, Kyle, Kristin and the cutest lil munchkin around HUNTER. It was a great time! I love hanging out with everyone. We had rented a few movies earlier in the day so we wrapped up din din headed home jumped in our jammies and watched Bolt...Such a cute movie! A great ending to a lovely relaxing Saturday!
Sunday was Game day for Ryan. He had to be at the park to play Softball at 9:00. We woke up early threw ourselves together and off we went.....I love watching his games I get so in to them! Hooting and Hollering!! Go baby, go baby (i mean GO MAHAFFEY, GO RYAN) !!! Hahaha They whooped the other teams booty. Did I mention they are undefeated! Good job Boys! Phil and Erica had invited us over to their house for a BBQ. Did someone say BBQ on a B-E-A-utiful day?? I'm all in! We basked in the sun and ate delicious Tri tip, spicy sausages, potato salad. All the food was amazing and the company was even better. The boys enjoyed drinking beer and hanging out by the grill while the ladies sat inside playing around with the kids. ( : Good times! Then we headed out back to my house in Palmdale for the night. We played some guitar hero, cleaned up and went to dinner. Then it was my favorite part of the day......BEDTIME!
It was a great weekend! Today both my babies come home and the work day can't go by fast enough so that I can hug them up! Pray for a quick day and the strength to make it all that it can be. Make it count!
